Abstract
Latent infections of anaplasmosis were eliminated from 10 adult cows by feeding 1.1 mg of chlortetracycline/kg of body weight for 120 days in a ration. Elimination of latent infection was confirmed by a negative reaction to the complement-fixation test for anaplasmosis at 180 days after medication ended and the failure to transmit anaplasmosis on subinoculations of blood from medicated to susceptible animals at 28 days and 180 days after treatment. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
