Abstract
A technique is described of blind nasal intubation under light general anaesthesia employing a respiratory stimulant, doxapram hydrochloride. Intubation was successfully achieved with not more than 200 mg of doxapram hydrochloride in 88 of 100 patients. It is suggested that it may be a useful alternative to carbon dioxide for blind nasal intubation. Keywords
