The spin-orbit term in the nucleon optical potential

Abstract
The centroid energies of bound single-particle states and the results of optical-model analyses of nucleon scattering are used to obtain the energy dependence of the spin-orbit potential. There is no evidence for dependence on the nuclear asymmetry.Keywords
