Abstract
In a patient with multiple allergies, meditation-hypnosis was used as the analgesic method for nonsurgical endodontic therapy of an upper left canine with a vital-inflamed pulp. In addition, anxiety, salivation and hemorrhage were all brought under control. The case was witnessed by an endodontic resident and the extirpated pulp was histologically analyzed and shown to be a vital pulp. The patient reported no pain or discomfort and took a pleasant mental trip. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
