Abstract
In this Comment we question the recent analysis of two dense coding protocols presented by Lee, Ahn, and Hwang [Phys. Rev. A 66, 024304 (2002)]. We argue that in the case of two-party communication protocol, there is no reason for using a maximally entangled state of more than two qubits. Keywords
