Abstract
Double electron photoionization is calculated for an open-shell system for the first time. Many-body perturbation theory is used in obtaining results for the 3P ground state of neutral carbon. Contributions from the 2p2 pair and 2s2p pairs are included, with the 2s2p cross section dominating. Keywords
