Abstract
Electrolytic oxidation of armepavine and N-norarmepavine leads to fragmentation, but the oxidation of N-carbethoxy-N-norarmepavine yields carbon–carbon dimers and, for the first time, the carbon–oxygen dimer akeleton of the alkaloid, dauricine.Keywords
