Abstract
A prototype circular compound scanner for scrotal contents was developed in order to improve the ultrasonogram (Aloka SSD 115 Gray Scale Unit, employing 3MHz ASO‐25H mechanical sector scanner). Using this scanner, 21 patients with scrotal masses were examined. The internal structure of a testicular tumor and a testes with a hydrocele were clearly visualized. This scanner has proven useful in the evaluation of the scrotal contents. Keywords
