Abstract
A study was made of a set of parameters which, in an average or statistical sense, would validly describe the fiber geometry of a textile card web. In addition, this work included the development of methods for the measurement of these parameters, the standardization of test procedures, and the collection and use of web samples for measurements. All chosen parameters were measured on the same web at three different strain levels, thus providing an intuitive check on the significance of the measured parametersKeywords
