Abstract
Mössbauer measurements of Sn-119 in Sn(CH3)4 molecules adsorbed on graphite yields an estimate of the diffusion coefficient. The angular dependence of the Mössbauer on-resonance cross section makes it possible to determine the nature of the diffusion in the very viscous 2 D fluid (D ∼ 10-8 cm2/s) and shows that it is continuous-like at it is in bulk liquidsKeywords
