Abstract
An earlier experiment has reported an "anomalous" coherent regenerative production of mesons in liquid hydrogen. The effect is reinterpreted in terms of a constructive interference between conventional regenerative amplitudes and the -violating decay . Experimental support is given. From new data, the branching ratio has been measured to be 0.7±0.2. Results are presented on the decay and on the strong-interaction reactions between mesons and protons at .
