Abstract
A study of the effect of heat treatment on the intrinsic magnetization exhibited by alloys of platinum and cobalt containing small percentages of the latter material is described. The results are compared with those obtained from the platinum nickel series of alloys. Tentative conclusions concerning the nature of the exchange interaction in the two series of alloys are given. Keywords
