Treatment with cortisone overcame the beneficial effect of vaccination in mice infected with a highly virulent strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. human type, bud did not significantly enhance the lethality in nonvaccinated mice; it also increased the susceptibility of mice to infection with M. tuberculosis of reduced virulence. Keywords
