Abstract
The general vector analysis of Stroke has been applied to the calculation of the intensity distribution among the real diffraction orders of a sinusoidal grating at normal incidence. The results are presented for gratings of period 10 and 20 μ and for various grating amplitudes up to 1 μ. The application of the results to surface‐transport studies is discussed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
