Abstract
A 25-year-old female chimpanzee with disseminated tuberculosis also had two uterine tumors. One was a typical leiomyoma and the other, which occluded the uterine lumen, was composed of cells resembling normal endometrial stroma in its proliferative phase. It was diagnosed as an endometrial stromal tumor and was similar to that which occurs in the human female. This is the first report of this lesion in a nonhuman primate. Keywords
