Abstract
Experimental results are presented of proton-beam (energy ∼650 keV) propagation through wall-confined plasma channel that is stabilized against sausage instability by an externally-applied longitudinal magnetic field. Significant improvement of beam-propagation efficiency has been obtained of ∼70% compared with the previous experiment of ∼55% without the magnetic field. The propagation can also be available up to ∼30% even in a non-propagation region in a non-stabilized channel. Keywords
