Calculation of the baryon spectrum with a linear Hamiltonian

Abstract
Baryon supermultiplet masses are calculated in a model of three relativistic quarks bound by linear plus Coulomb-type potentials. Predictions of the model are in good agreement with known multiplet masses, except for the () state, which is predicted to be 200 MeV too high.
