Abstract
We report a study of upshifted and downshifted Raman backscattered light obtained from two different plasma configurations using a 0.53-μm laser pump. The results provide strong evidence of coupling between plasma waves generated by stimulated Raman scattering and ion waves caused by, or facilitating, stimulated Brillouin scattering. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
