Abstract
A new method using a starch and castor oil suspension to visualize eccrine sweating may be employed on all subjects regardless of skin color. Prints taken on paper toweling are subsequently developed by exposure to iodine vapors. The procedure completely avoids the use of any alcoholic iodine solution on the skin; therefore, it can be used in the presence of serum exudation. Moreover, it does not promote anhidrosis. Keywords
