Abstract
The fate of injected P32 has been followed in blood and in the phospholipids of brain, spinal cord and sciatic nerve of developing rats for a period of 189 days after injection. The fate of injected P32 has been similarly followed in mature rats up to 179 days after injection. Brain-lipid metabolism in developing and mature rats was also studied by means of [I-Cl4]-glycerol. A proportion of the phospholipids of rat nervous tissue appears to be metabolically inert. Keywords
