Abstract
A technique is described by which the tapeworm cuticle can be shredded or peeled off after staining and dehydration, allowing a markedly clearer view of the internal anatomy for microslide whole mounts. The procedure involves manual dissection of the worm segments in terpineol following staining and dehydration. By application of this technique thick and darkened preserved cestode specimens can be salvaged and accurate microdissection of the genital apparatus can be performed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
