Individual Pollen Collector for Use of Hay-fever Patients in Comparison with the Burkard Trap

Abstract
The amounts of pollen and fungal spores to which patients are exposed during a given period, e.g. in the course of a day, have been measured with an "individual pollen collector". The results have been compared with those obtained with the Burkard trap, and clear quantitative differences established. Attention is also drawn to the fact that individuals are occasionally exposed to whole "clouds" or "swarms" of pollen.
