Abstract
Results are given of measurements of the specific heat magnetization and magnetic susceptibility of a superconducting compound Mo5SnGa0.5S6 in the normal state. The specific heat anomaly, as well as the character of the temperature dependences of the magnetic saturation moment and the susceptibility, indicate the appearance of magnetic ordering at T approximately=34K.Keywords
