Abstract
Initially dissociated spinal cord and muscle cells derived from chick embryos differentiate sufficiently in tissue culture to form functional synaptic contacts. Spontaneous and evoked potentials recorded with intracellular microelectrodes resemble synaptic responses of adult spinal cord and neuromuscular junctions. Keywords
