Abstract
Summary The proteolytic enzymes, collagenase and elastase, were measured in tissue biopsies from normal and dystrophic vulval skin. It is suggested that there is increased activity of elastase in lichen sclerosus and reduced activity of both enzymes in hypertrophic dystrophy. Keywords
