Abstract
The thermodynamic properties of molten Sn Te alloys have been determined by means of the EMF method. It has been found that the enthalpy and entropy of mixing show marked minima around the stoichiometric composition SnTe, where the electrical properties show also anomalies. The results obtained have been discussed in terms of the pseudobinary alloy model and the quasi‐chemical model. Keywords
