Abstract
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS-- Rather than building tiny devices atom by atom, nanoscientists are raiding biology's molecular toolbox in hopes of revolutionizing sensors, medical diagnostics, and electronics. At the Materials Research Society meeting here earlier this month, it was clear that as nanotechnology begins to leave its infancy and find its feet, most nanobuilders are looking to biology not just for inspiration but also a little practical help. Keywords
