Abstract
Simple and safe enough to be used as a screening procedure in ambulatory as well as hospitalized patients, brain scanning detects, differentiates, and localizes a wide variety of lesions, often eliminating delay in definitive diagnosis and treatment. With modern high-speed scintillation cameras and new radiopharmaceuticals, its range has now been expanded to dynamic studies of such processes as movement of the C S F.Keywords
