Abstract
The selection of one alternative from a set of alternatives as the one to implement is in general an anxiety provoking situation. Using some concepts from fuzzy set theory described in the paper, a measure for the anxiety induced by a given decision function is suggested. Some implications of this measure are investigated. Keywords
