Abstract
The ac Hall effect of YBa was measured in the normal state using time-domain spectroscopy. In contrast to some theories that explain the anomalous dc Hall effect by postulating a much slower quasiparticle scattering rate for Hall conduction than for normal conduction, we report a Hall scattering rate that is consistent with the normal scattering rate.
