Abstract
Five radial keratotomy predictive software programs are reviewed. The review consists of a brief description of each program and a comparative analysis of four hypothetical radial keratotomy patients with preoperative myopia of: - 2.50, - 5.00, - 7.50 and - 10.00. Significant differences in the recommended surgery for these patients is apparent. A sample printout of each program's predictions on the - 7.50 D patient is included. The true value of these programs will become apparent when independent surgeons report a prospective analysis detailing the accuracy of these predictions. Keywords
