Compound-Nucleus Effects in () Charge-Exchange Reactions on Light Nuclei

Abstract
We present evidence for the importance of compound-nucleus effects in () charge-exchange reactions on light nuclei for proton energies near 12 MeV. We propose a convenient method to estimate the magnitude of the compound cross section based on elastic proton-scattering cross sections.
