Abstract
On 7 March 1953 I received several specimens of Locusta migratoria from Mr T. Singh, who found them dying in the breeding cages at the Imperial College, London. Microscopic examination showed that the fat body contained large numbers of oval-shaped spores belonging to a microsporidian. Keywords
