Abstract

A general account of the important morphological features of the haploid chromosome during the spermatogenesis in the termite, Odontotermes redemanni (Wasmann) has been described. The behavior of the chromosomes in this species vary in many important points from the generalized picture and is interesting specially due to the formation of the sperm tetrad at the end of the spermatogenesis.
