Abstract
A short review of the 3 cases of erythema gyratum repens reported in the literature is presented. A 4th case is described, associated with metastases of carcinoma cervicis uteri. The clinical picture showed some features of erythema annulare centrifugum. The histological picture was consistent with the epidermis-cutis type of erythema annulare centrifugum. In the author''s opinion, the scaling and/or vesiculating type of the persisting annular erythemas has to be classified as erythema annulare centrifugum. The case presented indicates a close relationship between erythema gryatum repens and erythema annulare centrifugum.
