Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, a histological, histochemical, and ultrastructural study of biopsy material

Abstract
Comparison of myocardial biopsies from cases of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and other conditions shows that a diagnosis can often be made on histological grounds. Histochemistry and electron microscopy add supporting evidence but no lesion specific to hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy has been found.
