Abstract
Recent successes on the EDM machining of ceramic materials have been quite encouraging in the area of theoretical modeling of the cutting process. However, in order to really make use of this know-how, further investigation is necessary. This paper aims to identify the mechanisms behind the EDM machining of conductive composite ceramic and to correlate the various properties with this removal process. Subsequently, a better understanding of the process can be realized and used to explain some of the phenomena resulting from the process. Keywords
