Abstract
Positron-gamma coincidence measurements have been carried out on by forming the activity in the reaction using a mechanically chopped Van de Graaff beam of 3.4-MeV ions and by detecting the delayed positron and gamma radiations in plastic and NaI(Tl) scintillation detectors. Gamma rays with energies of 4.43, 12.7, and 15.1 MeV were observed in coincidence with positrons. For the two higher states, the positron branches and values derived are (2.9±1.3)×, for positron emission to the 12.71-MeV state of , and (4.4±1.5)×, for the positron transition to the 15.11-MeV state of .
