Resonance Structure of the Veneziano Model forp¯n3πat Rest

Abstract
We determine the resonance structure contained in the four-point Veneziano amplitude describing p¯nπ+ππ at rest. The relative strengths of the resonances are obtained by partial-wave analysis of the amplitude with its imaginary part retained. The ρ, f, and g mesons on the leading trajectory appear to be decoupled, and we find that the ancestor resonances do not exist. Spin-0 and spin-1 daughters are found to be dominant.
