Abstract
Perturbation expansions are derived to second order in a wavenumber parameter for the unsteady lift induced on an aerofoil by disturbances convected past it at subsonic speeds. The results are used to discuss other approximate methods which have been used to predict the unsteady forces and noise generated by an aerofoil in turbulent flow. Keywords
