Abstract
Antithyroglobulin is produced in vitro by pokeweed mitogen stimulation of peripheral blood lymphocytes from patients whose serum contains the autoantibody. Antithyroglobulin synthesis requires T lymphocyte help but is suppressed by larger numbers of T lymphocytes. T cells from both patients and normals perform both of these functions. Keywords
