Secondary malignancies

Abstract
Malignant diseases are of particular concern as increasing numbers of patients survive the early phase after transplantation and remain free of their original disease. This article summarizes recent articles published on this topic, with particular emphasis on those published during the past 12-month review period. These recent clinical and biologic data on secondary malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors) occurring after either allogeneic or autologous stem cell transplantation are summarized in this review.
