Abstract
Little information is available on long-term outcome after neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS). Four patients are described who had survived episodes of NMS 2 to 11 years earlier. Some were safely re-treated with neuroleptics, and all safely received general anesthesia. No major sequelae were identified. Recommendations for management of patients after NMS are provided. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
