Abstract
The disordering kinetics of Ni3Fe have been investigated at a temperature 20 K above the disorder order transformation temperature using X-ray diffraction techniques. Disordering proceeds by a homogeneous decrease in the degree of order without any perceivable change in the anti-phase domain size until the LRO parameter (S) reaches 0-5 when there is a rapid breakdown of the domain structure. Reordering studies confirmed the above conclusions. Keywords
