Abstract
Conductimetric investigations in methanesulphonic acid have been carried out. The behaviour of certain solutes which act as strong bases along with a few weak bases and some non-electrolytes has been discussed. Disulphuric acid, fluorosulphuric acid, chlorosulphuric acid, and sulphuric acid behave as acids in methanesulphonic acid and the order of relative acidity is H2S2O7 > HSO3F > HSO3Cl > H2SO4 > H2SeO4.Keywords
