Abstract
1 Information has been obtained on the outcome of 448 completed pregnancies in mothers who had been given bromocriptine at some stage in the early weeks of pregnancy. 2 The frequencies of spontaneous abortions, twin pregnancies and malformations have been compared with those reported for 'normal' populations. 3 Based on this limited material, we conclude that the use of bromocriptine to restore fertility in hyperprolactinaemic women is not associated with an increased risk of abortion, multiple pregnancy or the occurrence of malformations in the infants. Keywords
