Abstract
DURING the past few years there have been no-table trends in dermatology. As a result of the many new drugs such as the steroids and the antibiotics, which necessitate increased systemic study of the patient and increased laboratory corroboration, there has been close co-operation between all branches of medicine and dermatology. Prevention of cutaneous diseases and rehabilitation of those afflicted is now discussed, and there is evidence of excellent teamwork by those interested in this subject.
