Abstract
The effect of high heels upon the longitudinal arch was studied in 25 women. At the end of the day the height of the arch increased by .4 cm. After wearing low heels the heights of the arch decreased .3 cm. Both changes were statistically significant beyond the .01 level of confidence.Keywords
