Abstract
The morphology, culture, and nutrition of four new species of apochlorotic diatoms (Nitzschia lucisensibilis, N. fluorescens, N. albicostalis and Hantzschia achroma) are described. A key to the seven apochlorotic diatoms, including the three known species (N. putrida, N. leucosigma and N. alba), is included. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
