Abstract
This paper describes a method for obtaining temporal patterns of foot/floor contact during walking. A system primarily designed to obtain the temporal / distance factors of gait is the basis of the method. The importance of data presentation is stressed and a novel graphical method of displaying the patterns of foot contact is shown. Examples of normal and certain pathological gaits are presented. Keywords
